From the beginning of the U.S. Mint up to 1964 U.S. Dimes, Quarters, Half Dollars, and Silver Dollars were made of 90% Coin Silver. Early on until the present day you could purchase $1,000.00 face value bags of 90% coin silver. The bags or rolls of silver coins are bought and sold by their silver content, in other words they are connected to the daily silver spot market prices. When silver prices go up, so does your investor value.

Investing in silver coins may have several advantages over Silver Rounds and Bars; the silver content per ounce over spot usually costs less than Rounds or Bars, as there is no minting costs involved.
